Request a workspace in the PortalTalk Workspaces Web Part
As a internet portal user, ou can request the creation of a workspace from the PortalTalk workspace web part.
You need specific permissions for this within the relevant workspace category.
The specifications you provide in your request for the new workspace can be modified later by a workspace owner.
When you request a workspace, a notification email is sent automatically to the users with the permission to create workspaces within the relevant category.
As soon as your request has been approved or rejected, you will receive an email confirmation. If necessary, refer to the section on approving or rejecting a workspace request.

Navigate to the PortalTalk Workspaces web part for the category in which you wish to request a new workspace.

Click on the +Request option.
The Request Modern Team Site form is displayed on the right side of the screen:

Workspace title - Type title of your new workspace.

Description - Type the description of the workspace. PortalTalk will also search this text, if search will be executed.

Allow inviting external users? - Active or Disabled.

Time interval for Access Review - This feature cannot be edited.

Metadata - If specific metadata applies, you can fill them here.

Access Type – Members only or Organizational.

Externe Gebruikers? - Are external users allowed to be invited?

Owners - Select an Owner for the new workspace.
Your workspace request is confirmed and it is also shown to which users your request will be addressed:
The users who have permission to review and approve your request will receive an email notification of your request:
You will receive a confirmation by email of the approval or denial of your request.
The text of these automatically generated email messages can be set/modified by the PortalTalk application administrator. See the manual page related to managing the PortalTalk email templates. -
If your request is approved, the workspace will be created.
The link to the newly created workspace will then appear in the My workspace subcategory of the users you had selected as the workspace owner.
As long as your request has not been approved or rejected, a PortalTalk administrator can find the requested workspace in the relevant PortalTalk application management function. (Pending workspace creation requests)
