The workspace owner

If you manage a workspace, be it a SharePoint site or a Microsoft Teams team, you are the workspace's owner.
As the workspace's owner you are responsible for a number of tasks;

  • You create new workspaces and/or assess requests for new workspaces;

  • You allow users access to your workspace and determine which usage permissions they are allocated;

  • You conduct periodic Access Reviews to determine if team members still require access your workspace and, if so, if they should keep their current usage permissions.
